nita. is a multidisciplinary artist based in vienna. beside commissioned projects i love to work on limited edition series. each series is based on a specific subject. my main technique is digital mixed media collage. next to fineart prints on vat paper i love to experiment with different surfaces. on weekends i love to hunt for old frames – as i’m always on the search of a cocoon & shelter for my prints. my work ethic is based on a mélange of timeless sustainability, quality and passion for detail. the visual style can be understood as constant interplay between daydream & night watch, surface & depth of flotation. a visual funambulation among kitsch & melancholia – trying to hijack the visitor into a surreal forrest, where animals mutate & forgotten ancestors reveal on leaves.
